Your use of the foster.co.uk website is subject to these terms and conditions of use. When you use our website you agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions.
We at Foster & Son aim to deliver impeccable service to each of our customers. If you have not been able to find the answer on our website, our Web Sales staff are available Monday to Friday 10:00 to 18:00 GMT (5.00am – 1pm EST) on +44(0) 207 930 5385 or via email at email@example.com to assist you with questions or to help you with any problems you may experience while ordering online.
A) Shipment and Postage:
I do not live in the UK – will you still ship to me? Yes. We deliver to most countries, however local import duties and additional charges may be payable on receipt. For orders placed outside the UK and EU, please note that you are responsible for any import duties and clearance fees (where applicable) in your own country and to check the duties and clearance fees with your local authorities.
How long does it normally take to receive my shopping? All deliveries are sent from London using couriers, or by mail for smaller items, and generally arrive within 3 to 5 business days in the UK. Overseas deliveries will take a little longer and may be subject to customs delays. Deliveries to the US generally take between 7-10 business days. Occasionally some items may not be in stock. If this happens our Web Sales Team will make contact to provide you with an estimated delivery date. We will do our utmost to dispatch all orders within seven days of receipt, subject to stock availability and credit card authorisation.
What happens if I do not receive my order in the timeframe? Our customers normally receive their order within the specified timeframe for each country; however from time to time delays can occur. Does Foster & Son deliver to multiple addresses in one order? No. Separate orders will need to be placed should you require this service.
Do I need to sign on delivery of my purchase? Yes, a signature is required upon delivery and please note that we only deliver Monday to Friday during working hours. Should you wish to have your shopping delivered to an alternative address please state this in the shipping address section. Items which are sent to an address other than that of the card billing address may be subject to confirmation with the card holder.
Can somebody else sign for my purchase? Yes, anyone at the specified delivery address can sign for the goods. Foster & Son does not take responsibility for loss or damage to goods once they have been signed for.
Can I have my shopping delivered to an address other than my card billing address? Should you wish to have your shopping delivered to an alternative address please state this in the ‘Delivery Address’ section. Items which are sent to an address other than that of the card billing address may be subject to confirmation with the card holder.
Will my purchase be received in your packaging? Please indicate that you want the free Foster & Son gift wrap service on your Shopping Bag page if you would like your shopping to arrive in Fosters’ packaging.
B) Customs and Taxes:
Do I have to pay taxes and or import duties?
Customs duties: If your residence / delivery address is within the European Union you will not be charged any customs duty, because VAT is normally paid where applicable on the goods you purchase.
US sales tax: For orders delivered in the US, prices are exclusive of sales tax. Sales tax might apply depending on the state you ask us to ship to.
Orders placed outside the UK, US and EU: For orders placed outside the UK and EU, please note that you are responsible for any import duties and clearance fees (where applicable) in your own country and to check the duties and clearance fees with your local authorities.
Do the prices displayed on foster.co.uk website include tax?
US: Goods are shipped to the USA net of UK VAT, however local taxes might apply depending on state you are shipping to.
UK and EU countries: For goods shipped to UK and EU, all prices are shown inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate.
Rest of the World For orders shipped to countries outside the EU and UK, prices charged will be exclusive of VAT.
Do you accept returns of all Foster & Son purchases? No. If footwear has been worn outside the house, or if any purchase is scuffed, creased, stained or damaged in any other way then we reserve the right either to reject returns or to credit a lower proportion of the purchase amount.
How do I return or exchange goods bought on the WSFoster.com website and telephone purchases?
Unused items may be returned within 28 days of receipt. Simply contact us with your details, what item you would like to return and why and whether you would like an exchange for replacement items, gift voucher/gift card or refund.

We will process your request and give you a Returns Authorization Number. We recommend using a registered postal service and take no responsibility for items that are lost in transit. You can usually find the process on how to return items on the back of the carrier’s dispatch note.
Please note that returning items will be at your own cost. Where we offer an exchange, if the new item costs less, we will reimburse you with the difference. If the new item costs more, an additional payment will be required. We will not charge second postage and packing costs for dispatch of exchanged goods.
How long do I have before returning items bought on foster.co.uk?
Unused items may be returned to 83 Jermyn Street London SW1Y 6JD for an exchange, refund, credit note or gift voucher within 28 days of receipt. Simply contact us with your details, what item you would like to return and why and whether you would like an exchange for replacement items, gift voucher/gift card or refund. Our Web Sales Team is available Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00 GMT (3:30am – 1pm EST) and can be contacted on +44 (0) 207 930 5385 or via email on firstname.lastname@example.org. We will process your request and give you a Returns Authorization Number using a registered postal service.
If we offer an exchange, if the new item costs less, we will reimburse you with the difference. If the new item costs more then an additional payment will be required. There will be no second postage and packing costs to you for dispatch of exchanged goods.
Who pays the cost of returning items bought on foster.co.uk?
Returning items either for a refund or exchange will be at your own cost.
Returns brought to Jermyn Street (excluding Discounts):
Returns of unused footwear, luggage or accessories in original condition with an original receipt within 28 days of purchase may be returned for a refund, exchange, Credit Note or Gift Voucher.
A refund will be sent by mail within 28 days of the return date for items purchased by cheque. Please note that if you have originally paid by card and would like a refund, you will need to bring with you the card used to make the original purchase.
Returns without receipt or after 28 days: Unused footwear, luggage or accessories in original condition may be returned for a Credit Note or Gift Voucher only.
All Returns must be authorized by a member of store management.
Sale merchandise: Most sale items are covered by our returns policy except that any refund will be at the sale price only. Items must be returned within 28 days of purchase. However returns will not be accepted of items marked “Final Sale”. Because some sale items may no longer be in stock, Foster & Son may not be able to provide an identical replacement. Where no replacement is available, a Credit Note or Gift Voucher will be issued.
D) Legal Information:
Information provided over our web-site is stored in a secure server in London. If you do not wish us to store your data, then once your purchase has been completed to your satisfaction you may send us an email at email@example.com requesting us to erase your personally identifiable information from our customer database.
You are invited to provide email and other contact details on our web-site so that we can keep you informed of our products, travel schedules, special offers, etc. If you want us to erase any such data, please send an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone us at (44) 207 930 5385 requesting us to erase that information from our customer database.
Foster & Son apply high standards of confidentiality to customer data. Information you have provided may be passed on by Foster & Son to third parties supplying services on or to the wsfoster.com website. Foster & Son may also pass details you have provided if, in good faith, it considers such disclosure to be necessary in order to comply with current legislation, or to carry out a writ of summons or any other legal procedure. In the event that the assets of Foster & Son were to be acquired by another legal entity, then the list of customers from the wsfoster.com website may be included among the assets transferred to the new owner.
